    Japan’s Hit Products of 2011

    Another year another trend. Time to look back on Japan’s best products of 2011 according to ad agency Dentsu. In case this is your first time with these lists, Dentsu considers people, places and events, products as well.

    Take it as it is, but I kind of like looking back on what was on the minds of many Japanese; or at least what Japan’s mass media wanted on their minds. Oh and the same rules apply: selection is based on 4 major categories – sales, ingenuity, market-creation and influence.

    sebenernya kemaren di youkame no semi itu (yg udah saya sebutin sebelumnya)... Konomi Watanabe chan itu sempet meraih rookies of the year... (untuk tahun 2012) di ajang Japan Academy Prize... ajang perfilman yg lumayan cukup bergengsi lah...

    ini mengalahkan rekor Mana chan,, sbg rookies of the year terkecil...
    di tahun sebelumnya (2011) kan,, Mana chan juga pernah dpt rookies of the year di film GHOST,, saat itu usianya baru 6 tahun..

    nah Konomi chan ini usianya msh 5 tahun saat itu...

    tp perannya g banyak sbenernya
    tp meskipun begitu ttap dapet award...keren...

    maksud saya itu, artis paling kecil yg jadi pemeran utama film
    bukan peraih rookies of the year yg paling kecil.
    kalo di sayonara bokutachi no youchien kan pemeran utamanya si Mana.
    kalo di film youkame no semi itu kan si konomi watanabe bukan pemeran utamanya.

    mana chan lucu da di dorama b.rain na, bagus da tontonan keluarga.
    cuma pas bangun tidur mana chan cuci muka gosok gigi makan, ehm percuma gosok gigi na kan yg benar gosok gigi sesudah makan n sebelum tidur ha ha kata dokter gigi.

    Ashida Mana becomes image character for Fuji TV’s summer campaign

    Popular child actress Ashida Mana has been chosen as the image character for Fuji TV’s summer campaign, ‘Drama×Variety Festival Doba Doba! Fuji TV‘.

    The TV SPOT that started broadcasting today features an appearance by countless “Ashida Mana Robots”. Ashida commented, “I was surprised to see so many robots of myself.”

    In order to create the CG robots, Ashida held a photo shoot where she made various expressions with her face. “I had fun making faces for the shoot,” she said.

    In the CM, the “Ashida Mana Robots” march left and right while chanting the campaign phrase, “Doba Doba!“. These robots won’t stop here as it’s said that they will gradually branch out all over Tokyo.

    Ashida Mana & Toyokawa Etsushi appear at a press conference for their upcoming drama

    Popular child actress Ashida Mana and actor Toyokawa Etsushi recently appeared at a press conference for their upcoming drama, ‘Beautiful Rain‘.

    The drama portrays the love and bond between a father and daughter. Kinoshita Keisuke (played by Toyokawa) is diagnosed with juvenile Alzheimer’s Disease, and he must face the disease together with his daughter Miu (Ashida).

    Ashida shared an episode from their filming saying, “There was a scene where I had to ride on my dad’s shoulders. It was really high up, and I felt I was at the very top of a roller coaster ride. It was really fun.”

    Toyokawa commented, “The time with Mana-chan was like a beautiful jewel. My first impression? Such a pretty girl.”
