Unlike generic HRMS that is not suitable for the use of most SMEs, HRM Labs surveys and gather requirements and then proceed to customize software solution that truly works.We are also developing an innovative technology to assist in Employee Progression Planning that enables SMEs to stay competitive by giving the company managers a framework towards assured staff progression and retention. We have since received down payments from five local SMEs from the Security and Cleaning industry.

In a short span of 3 months HRMLabs has growth exponentially in terms of revenue and traction with more than 4000 users and we are expanding swiftly into new verticals and markets.

Responsibilities
The web developer would be someone with some experience in modern web and server side technologies. This is a fast-paced position that requires a high degree of energy and focus without compromising quality. You will be working closely with the technical founder to build and decide the most challenging features to be included in the application. You will have a chance to work and learn how to shape a start up as we move along as well. We encourage you to learn and take as much experience as you can in return for responsibility.

Responsibility

- Write front-end Scala code as well as client-side Javascript/HTML/CSS code that powers the whole web user workflow
- Build new features and fix bugs
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimisation of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Collaborate with other software engineers, product manager to build new products with web technologies.


Requirements

- Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
- In-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms and other computer science fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with front end technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
- Familiar with at least one server side scripting language such as Function Programming, Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Node.js.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems and Nginx is preferred.
- Excellent working attitude, problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
