    INSANITY is a death metal band from Yogyakarta, formed in early November 2009 with the formation Afdhil on Vocal, Zoel on Guitar, Desky on Drums and Adit on Bass. Initial formation of the first, Desky and Zoel who were the "rest" of the previous band (Take Me To Mordor), planed to create a new band. The vocal position was eventually filled by Afdhil, and bass position filled by Aditya who was originally recommended by Afdhil. Therefore, Insanity was formed. Insanity name itself was taken from the word insane which means crazy. Crazy refers to the expression of our love of music itself. Lyrics of the songs theme are about social criticism.
    At the end of 2010, Aldy (Devoured) was signed to replace the drum position because it was left by Desky. And Adit who was previously bassist now fills the Guitar 2. At the beginning of 2011 we got a new bassist named Aga.

    Our influence are from metal bands such as Siksa Kubur, Dying Fetus, Spawn Of Possession, Behemoth, Deadsquad, Beheaded, etc.
