11 Easy DIY Date Night Hairstyles
    [IMG]
The man of your dreams finally asked you on a date, and now you’re not only freaking out about your outfit, but your hair as well! Sound familiar? Well, take a chill pill girlfriend. Whether you’re headed to a sporting event or a five star restaurant, these to-die-for date night hairstyles are bound to make a lasting impression!

    1. A Simple, Sleek High Bun
A classic bun at the top of the head screams high fashion and if perfect for fancy dates, says celebrity hairstylist Claudio Lazo, owner of C The Salon in Studio City, CA. “Carry a small can of hairspray in your bag, and always, always, always have a few hairpins handy for touchups throughout the night.” Hey, you never know when disaster might strike or a sudden gust of wind could totally mess up your mane! It’s best to be prepared.

    2. 2. The Whimsical Side Chignon
According to Claudio, a chignon can be worn on every type of date. It all depends on how you rock it, however. For example, if you’re going with the whimsical side chignon (one of our favorite looks!), he suggests trying it out for a casual summer date night. “Not that much work is needed, and it’s a hairdo that turns any woman into a chicer version of herself, whether she knows how to control her hair or not.”

    3. Boho Beach Waves
Boho beach waves are another fabulous low-key date night hairstyle idea. They’re effortless and give off that free-spirited, cool girl vibe. To score the messy look, Claudio recommends flash drying hair from the bottom up, about 80% of the way. Then, split it down the center and braid it. Spritz with a little hairspray, blow dry the rest and undo the braid for beautiful beach waves.

    4. The Power Pony
Headed to drinks with your date after work? Sport the power pony! “The volume in this hairstyle makes it great for the transition from day to night,” notes Donet Dee Eiwasian, a stylist at Assembly Salon in LA. First, blow dry your hair to achieve sleek looking locks. Take sections at the crown next (as shown in the photo), and tease your hair at the root. Secure the “pouf” with bobby pins in a criss cross pattern right below your crown. Now, take the rest of your hair and put it up into a ponytail. Grab the end of the teased and secured section and wrap this around the base of your pony to hide the hair elastic. Secure with bobby pins, and you’re ready to roll.

    5. The Runway Blowout
This look works in practically any setting, especially on a fancy shmancy dinner date, points out Donet. “Roughly blow dry your hair or use your round brush to get strands extra sleek. Wrap sections around a large 1.5-inch curling iron, and don’t brush out the curl. Let your hair completely cool before repeating on your entire head.” Once it’s cooled the second time around, brush out and voila: you have a beautiful, salon-worthy blowout!

    6. A Super Quick & Wavy Side Pony
In a rush, but still want your hair to look hot? Don’t worry! You can cheat and recreate this style in minutes by only curling the hair in your ponytail, says seasoned hairstylist Sherri Jessee. “Start by brushing your hair over to one side, and tie it off with a covered elastic band. Take a small section of hair next, and wrap it around to conceal the band. Secure it in place with a few bobby pins. Then, curl the rest of your hair with a one-inch curling iron.” Your date won’t be able to take his eyes off you!

    7. A Chignon With Serious Flower Power
There’s nothing more romantic than accessorizing with a flower! “Using your fingers to amp up texture, rake your hair back into a low ponytail,” advises Jessee. “Loosely twist the ends, and pin them to form an asymmetrical chignon. Treat yourself to a beautiful bouquet of fresh spring flowers, and secure one of them in your hair for the perfect accent.” You can also find flirty, clip-on faux flowers at your local drugstore or beauty supply store.

    8. Voluminous Soft Waves
Soft waves are sure to win his heart every time, says Jessee. And we totally agree! To achieve this look at home, she recommends applying a volumizing mousse to freshly shampooed hair, then blow dry it. “Roll hair on medium sized electric rollers. For longer lasting curls, allow the set to cool completely before removing. Now, turn your head upside down, and brush hair with a soft bristle brush. Gently smooth it into place, and spray with a touchable hairspray like Pravana Super Shape.”

    9. Effortless *** Kitten Hair
Wow your date with effortless come-hither hair! “On towel dried locks, apply a cocktail of styling cream and Obliphica Professional Treatment Serum; distribute evenly, and spritz a volumizing spray on your roots,” instructs celebrity hairstylist and creative director of Obliphica Professional, John Blaine. “For maximum volume, blow dry your hair with a large, round, boar bristle brush. Use large velcro rollers next, and leave them in while you do your makeup and get dressed.” When you’re ready to go, take them out, and run one pump of Treatment Serum throughout your strands. “This will give you that dreamy summer night’s hair. Plus, the smell will drive him wild!”

    10. Vintage Hollywood Waves
According to John, the vintage Hollywood look is always in. He suggests spraying damp hair with volumizer to start, then mix styling cream with Treatment Serum and distribute evenly. “Create a razor straight side part (it must be straight!), and blow dry your hair with a roller brush. Set waves with hot rollers all going downward and toward your face. Let cool before brushing out and into shape.” To help mold the shape, he advises using a comb and your fingers. Finally, spritz with some hairspray and get ready to blow your date away!

    11. An Artistic Textured Updo
A lot of women only associate long hair as sexy, but John believes hair pulled up is even more seductive because you can see the neck of the woman. To fashion this style, he says to apply Obliphica Professional Multi Task Styling Cream to damp hair and distribute evenly. “Blow dry your hair upside down, and begin grabbing sections of hair starting in the lower back; pin these with bobby pins. Work your way up to the front, letting your creativity flow by sculpting and molding the shape you want. Remember, it’s all about that texture!”

How to Do Simple and Cute Hairstyles

    Method 1 of 4: Up-dos

Put your hair up in a regular bun. It's classic, easy, and looks good on pretty much everyone.

Try a trendy hair bow. This style, popularized by Lady Gaga, is a lot easier than it looks. Give it a shot!

Do a casual, messy bun. This hairstyle looks feminine and cute without seeming like you tried too hard.

Try a side-swept bun. Moving your hair over to one side is a subtle twist on a standard style, and appears a little more feminine from the front.

Make a sock bun. A regular tube sock can help you create a trendy, stable bun with minimal effort.

Do a wrap bun without pins or elastics. No hair accessories? No problem! All you need is a pencil, chopstick, or hair stick to pull off this effortless style.

Try a sleek, professional upside down bun. For a look that's easy but mature, use this twist on a regular bun.

    Method 2 of 4: Ponytails

Do a chunky, textured ponytail. Try amping up a boring ponytail with the help of a curling iron.

Try an illusion ponytail. Cover up the elastic with a pinned-up strand of hair for a sleeker look.

Pull your hair into a messy ponytail. Keep your hair out of your face without looking like you tried to hard with this effortless style. Add ribbons or hair accessories to dress it up.

Dress up a regular ponytail. An inverse ponytail will both hide the elastic and make the style look a little more formal for work or school.

Try a retro-inspired hair roll. Take another step up from an inverse ponytail with a hair roll. Turn the ponytail into a messy bun for a trendy look, or a regular bun for a professional hairstyle.

    Method 3 of 4: Braids

Make a fishtail braid. It looks like it's made up of many small strands, but a fishtail braid is surprisingly easy to do. Keep it neat and orderly, or mess it up to imitate Katniss Everdeen's hairstyle in The Hunger Games.

Or, try a tied off fishtail braid. For a slightly different look, start with a ponytail and fishtail braid from there. This is a good start for beginners.

Do a Dutch braid. A Dutch braid, or an inside-out French braid, is a quick and cute way to pull back your hair in the morning, once you get the hang of it.

Side braid your hair. For a unique, bohemian-style look, try a side braid. It's basically the same technique as a French braid, but with a twist.

Method 4 of 4: Loose Styles

Curl your hair as you sleep. When you pull out the braids in the morning, you'll have soft, bouncy curls!

Curl your hair with a curling iron. Curl everything, or just add a few big curls on the top layer of your hair.

Use a flat iron to get big, loose curls. It might seem weird to use a straightener to curl your hair, but you can use it to get a different shape than a curling iron provides.

Pull your hair half-up with a bump. Imitate Snooki's hairstyle with a hair bump.

5 Super Quick and Easy Hairstyles You Can Do in Your (Parked) Car

    The Knotted Half Up
    [IMG]
Step 1: Pull half of your hair toward the back of your head. Make sure it’s free of lumps and bumps and that you’ve gathered an even amount from either side.
Step 2: Divide hair into two even sections.
Step 3: Tie your hair into one simple knot. Keep hair smooth while you do this. It may take one or two tries before you get the hang of it, but I promise it’s easy.
Step 4: Pull the top section of hair down and then secure with a barrette just underneath the knot. I love decorative hair barrettes, but you could also secure with bobby pins if that’s what you have on hand.

    The Criss-Cross Low Bun
    [IMG]
Step 1: Separate hair into three sections. The two side sections should have even amounts of hair and the middle section should have more hair than the side sections. Gather the middle section into a low pony tail.
Step 2: Wrap the ponytail into a bun and secure with bobby pins.
Step 3: Pull the left section of hair over the top of your bun. Continue wrapping the hair under and around your bun and then secure with bobby pins.
Step 4: Repeat on the right side.

    The Double-Wrap Head Scarf
    [IMG]
Step 1: Tie a headscarf around your head, making sure one end is longer than the other. To make this easier, I like to create a half-up pony, tie the scarf and then release my hair over the scarf.
Step 2: Twist the longer section of the scarf so that it’s very tightly coiled.
Step 3: Wrap the twisted section over the already placed scarf and secure with a several bobby pins behind the ear.

    The Twisted Trio
    [IMG]
Step 1: Divide hair into three even sections. One left side section, one right side section and one middle section.
Step 2: Twist your middle section into a low bun, making sure it’s in the exact center. (This keeps your buns centered when all’s said and done.) Once you’ve created your center bun, do the same with the right section of hair, nestling the right bun next to the middle bun.
Step 3: Repeat with the third section of hair. (PS. Looking at this picture again, I would probably re-do the right side, but the look is still gorgeous!).

    The French Braided Side Bun
    [IMG]
Step 1: Create a French braid on one side of your head, working your way toward your ear. I opted for an inverted French (aka Dutch braid), but a French looks just as pretty.
Step 2: Once you reach your ear, continue braiding normally and then secure with an elastic.
Step 3: Pull the rest of your hair over to the same side as your French braid and create a second, regular braid. You’ll want to keep it a little loose in the back so you have wiggle room for your bun.
Step 4: Twist the two braids together and carefully fashion a low, to-the-side bun. Secure with bobby pins.

12 Incredibly Chic Ways to Style Hair With a Scarf

    1. The Scarf Roll
This hairstyle is easy to achieve with just a scarf and medium to long hair. All you need to do is roll your ponytail up into your scarf, tie the scarf around your head, and tuck in the loose hair. Click here for a detailed tutorial!

    2. Dutch Scarf Braids
For this scarf-braided look, just lay the center of the scarf around the top of your head and braid the scarf into the two side braids. Secure the ends with a clear elastic, then tie the ends of the scarf around the front of your head. Tuck the scarf ends to in to create a smooth finish!

    3. Half Up Boho Braids
Lay the center of the scarf around the top of your head. Take a section of hair from either side of the scarf to create a small braid on both sides. Pin each braid to the back of the head discreetly. Click here for a detailed tutorial of this look!

    4. Twisted Scarf Halo
For this look, lay the center of the scarf across the front hairline. Starting on one side, take small sections of hair and twist them up and around the scarf. Catch the tail of your last twist in each new twist to keep the halo contiuous and secure. When you reach the back of the head, pin the twist and scarf discreetly to the head. Repeat the twisting on the other side. Secure it in the back with a pin. Tie the scarf together into a bow and twist and tuck any loose hairs into it. Click here for a full tutorial for the halo twist.

    5. Side Braided Scarf Bun
Begin by creating a side ponytail and braid your scarf into it. Secure the ends with a clear elastic, then wrap the braid into a bun. Continue wrapping the ends of the scarf around the bun to secure it and pin it into place. Tip: Use a large bobby pin to pin the scarf and braid into the head securely.

    6. French Roll and Scarf
For this adorable hairstyle, create a loose French roll by twisting your hair at the base of the neck and pulling it upward and against the head. Fold the ends over and tuck them inside the French roll to give it some volume. Add pins to discreetly to secure the roll. Tie your scarf around your head and into a bow in the back. Twist loose pieces of hair from around the face around the scarf to finish the look.

    7. Scarf and Bun
To create your bun, brush the hair into a tight ponytail on top of the head. Tease the ponytail a bit to bulk it up, then loosely roll it and pin it into a smooth bun. Wrap your scarf around the base of it several times, then tie the ends together to add some colorful flair!

    8. High Scarf Ponytail
This perky ponytail is great for any occasion and is perfectly paired with a scarf! First make a nice tight ponytail, and give your ponytail a little facelift. Wrap the scarf around the base of the ponytail a couple of times, then tie the ends together and let them hang down with the ponytail. Learn how to perfect your French roll here.

    9. Retro Scarf Ponytail
Start by back combing the hair at the crown. Create a low ponytail, then wrap the scarf around the top of your head and tie it in a bow under your ponytail for an easy retro look.

    10. Pirate Girl Scarf Band
This is a classic scarf styling trick that I use in the summer for carefree beach and river days to protect my hair and keep it in place. Simply style your hair into beachy waves, then tie the scarf around your head and into a bow in the back. Make sure that the widest part of the scarf is at the very top and that the sides barely come over the top of your ears.

    11. Rolled Scarf Bun
Create a ponytail at the nape of the neck, then roll the ends upwards into a barrel roll. Pin it into the head from either side of the roll, then pull the sides out a bit to fan the bun out. Tie the scarf around the head and into a bow under the bun to finish off the look.

    12. Amy-Inspired Scarf Beehive
I miss Amy Winehouse and her great signature hairstyle. To get this look, back comb the whole top section of the head with a boar bristle brush. Smooth the front of the hive and twist the ends of the back combed top section, pinning it upwards into the back of the head. Wrap the scarf around the front of the hive and tie it into a bow in the back.

8 More Creative Ways to Style Hair With a Ribbon

    1. Smooth the hair back and into a ponytail. Back comb the hair down and mist with hairspray. Smooth out the edges and wrap the hair around the band, securing the edges with hair pins. Gently wrap the ribbon around the bun and tie a bow in the front.

    2. Take a section of hair behind the left ear. Tie the ribbon to the hair and begin a Dutch braid, gently holding the ribbon as one of the strands. Braid the hair along the hairline, around the back of the head, and up to where it started. Finish the braid and pin it behind the first one.

    3. Part the hair on the left side of the head. Taking a section of hair, tie the ribbon to a strand and begin Dutch braiding down towards the right ear. Gently sweep hair from the left side of the head into the braid and continue to the bottom of the hair. Finish with an elastic band at the ends.

    4. Part the hair on the left side of the head and tie the ribbon to a strand of hair. Taking two sections of hair near the part, begin a rope braid, adding in hair from the right and left sides of the rope. Treat the ribbon as its own strand of hair and continue working down to the ends, following along the hairline. Secure the bottom with an elastic band.

    5. Part the hair, then take the front section on one side and rope braid the strands towards the back of the head and secure with an elastic band. Repeat the same step on the other side, then secure the two rope braids together and tie the ribbon to the end.

    6. Part the hair on the right side of the head. Wrap the ribbon around the head and tie at the nape of the neck. Take a front section of hair near the part and begin a Dutch braid, only pulling in hair from the back of the crown. Alternate between wrapping the hair under the ribbon and then over the ribbon as you work your way down towards the left ear. Secure the braid in place with a hair pin.

    7. Flip your head upside down and comb the hair down in the opposite direction. Taking a section of hair near the nape of the neck, begin a Dutch braid, working towards the top of the head. Smooth all the hair into a top knot and gently wrap the ribbon around the bun, tying a bow in the back above the braid.

    8. Separate the hair into two sections. Tie each half into a ponytail with a clear elastic band. Cut your ribbon in half and tie each half to each ponytail.

How to Style Short Hair Like a Pro

    Curly Caramel
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
    • Spray root lifter on hair.
    • Use a 1-inch diameter round brush to blow dry hair and simultaneously style into curls.
    • If you need to give curls an extra boost, use a ¾ or 1-inch barrel curling iron to define curls.
    • Finish by working a styling paste through mid-length and ends for texture and a polished finish.

    Recommended Products:
Try Redken Water Wax 03 separate and define hair with flexible control and brilliant shine.

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, pear, round

    Tip:
When round brushing, direct hair in the crown back. For hair in the fringe section, direct it forward as you dry with the round brush, but then gently sweep to the side.

    High Contrast
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
    1. Work a golf ball-sized amount of styling mousse through hair.
    2. Part hair at an angle over one eye.
    3. Blow dry hair with a medium-sized paddle brush, aiming air from roots to tips.
    4. Finish by sweeping fringe to one side and spraying with a light to medium hold hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
Try Sebastian Shaper Zero Gravity for a lightweight, completely brushable hairspray with a supple hold.

    Best Face Shapes:
    pear, oval, square, round

    Tip:
You may choose to use a flat iron to give the ends a really straight finish. Just be sure to use a heat protecting spray prior to flat ironing!

    Definition of a Curly Blonde
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
    1. Distribute a nickel-sized amount of styling serum throughout hair.
    2. Using a small paddle brush, blow dry hair using a “wrap” technique. This means you wrap your hair around your head as you aim the air from the blow dryer in the same direction your wrapping.
    3. Part hair to one side.
    4. Curl small individual sections of the topmost layer of your hair. Do not brush or tousle, but rather leave them so that you see shape of each curl.
    5. Finish with a hard hold hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
Bed Head Control Freak Serum used as a blow dry lotion will leave hair smooth and silky with a glossy finish.

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, heart

    Tip:
Use double-pronged pin curl clips, which can be found at Sally’s, to hold each curl as it cools. Remove the clips prior to using hairspray.

    High Expectations
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
    1. Work a golf ball-sized amount of styling foam through towel dried hair. Use a paddle brush to smooth hair on the sides back while you blow dry.
    2. Use a 1¼-inch diameter round brush to create lift in the crown as you blow dry the top section back.
    3. Take a teasing brush and tease the top section, stopping just short of the hairline.
    4. Lightly brush hair in the top section back, using the side of the teasing brush to direct hair into a pompadour.
    5. Finish with a medium to high hold hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
Cricket’s Amped Up Teasing Brush is perfect for this style! Use OSiS Freeze hairspray to keep this look locked in all day or all night long.

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, pear

    Tip:
To keep this look edgy, don’t worry about being too perfect with your pompadour. You’ll want a bit of texture to it rather than a perfectly sleek and smooth finish.

    Brownie Points
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
    1. Work a nickel-sized amount of volumizing styling cream through towel dried hair.
    2. Use fingers to tousel hair as you blow dry, lifting at the roots to give some volume to your style.
    3. Finish by using your fingertips to apply texture paste through the ends, especially piecing out the fringe and back of the neck.

    Recommended Products:
Try Aveda Control Paste for a high-textured, low-sheen look that’s smooth, not sticky.

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, heart, square

    Tip:
A slightly longer version of this cut would be great on those with round faces! Style this cut around that face shape and be sure to create a bit more lift in the crown so that it complements your face shape perfectly.

    Cream of the Crop
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
    1. Shampoo and condition with products dedicated to curly hair care.
    2. Wring excess moisture from hair with a towel.
    3. Work a quarter-sized amount of medium hold gel throughout hair, making sure to distribute through the sides and back as well.

    Recommended Products:
Curly Sexy Hair’s Liquid Curling Gel supports and shapes curls while adding volume and providing medium hold.

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, pear

    Tip:
Use fingertips to distribute the gel through hair and only add more if necessary. Applying with fingertips first helps with even distribution!

    Smooth ‘N Straight
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
Work a quarter-sized amount of blow dry serum through towel dried hair.
Blow dry using a medium heat setting and the wrap technique described in “Definition of a Curly Blonde” above.
Spray heat protectant on hair first as you work section by section around your head with a flat iron, smoothing where necessary.

    Recommended Products:
Bed Head’s Control Freak Serum is perfect to use as a blow dry lotion on fine to medium textured hair.

    Best Face Shapes:
    heart, oval

    Tip:
Use flat irons and other hot tools on a medium heat setting, especially with fine hair. Higher heat can cause damage to this more fragile hair texture.

    Lift Me Higher
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
Work a golf ball-sized amount of styling mousse through hair, concentrating it at the roots.
    Part hair over one eye.
Use a 1-inch diameter round brush as you blow dry hair, beginning near the nape or neck area, and work in horizontal sections towards the top of your head.
As you blow dry, direct the hair in a pie-shaped pattern away from the part.
Work a nickel-sized amount of texture paste to piece out the ends.
Finish with a medium to high hold hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
OSiS Grip can be used for maximum style support on all hair types. Piece out ends with OSiS Aqua Slide for all the benefits of a pomade without being greasy or sticky.

    Best Face Shapes:
    pear, oval, square

    Tip:
Use gator clips to section hair out of the way as you blow dry.

    Up Up and Away
    [IMG]
    How to Style:
    1. You’ll need bobby pins that match your hair color, a tail comb, flat iron, heat setting spray and hairspray. Texture wax will come in handy too for extra definition. Preheat flat iron.
    2. Begin by parting hair to one side over your eye.
    3. Section the fringe out. This is the area that will be left out to frame your face.
    4. Take a 3/4-inch section of hair in the front and twist it back, securing with a bobby bin.
    5. Repeat Step 4 in a random pattern on the top of your head, making sure to leave parts of the sections loose to create “tails” that are left out.
    6. When you get to the back section, work from the top down, building the twists up with the lower ones twisted and secured to the ones above them. Alternately, you can create a large French twist section in the back for a more classic look.
    7. Spray each loose “tail” of hair with heat setting spray then flat iron, bending the flatiron along the tail to give it a slight curve. Smooth with a bit of texture wax.
    8. Repeat Step 8 on each “tail”.
    9. Arrange loose ends and spray with hairspray to secure them where you wish. Teasing the base of each tail before flat ironing will give it lift, which will in turn give the whole style extra volume.

    Recommended Products:
Redken Water Wax 03 shine defining pomade is perfect for polishing the loose ends of this style.

    Best Face Shapes:
All face shapes will look great in this style!

    Wild Instincts
    [IMG]
    How to Style:
Start with a cropped cut that’s shorter on the sides and left about 5 to 6 inches long on the top.
Preheat a flat iron and a 1/2 or 3/4-inch barrel curling iron.
Spray heat setting spray on all hair in the top section.
Alternate between curling and flat ironing 3/4-inch sections of hair. Spray each section of hair with heat setting spray for extra hold.
Arrange texture towards the front of your head as you spray with high hold hairspray to secure.

    Recommended Products:
Redken Spray Starch 15 heat memory styler curls, crimps and flattens with style memory technology.

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, pear

    Tip:
Opt for Hot Sets 22 if you’d like an even higher level of style memory.

    Stylin’ Asymmetry
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
Work a flexible hold styling gel through towel dried curly hair.
    Part hair to one side.
Use a finger-pronged blow dry diffuser to scrunch and dry hair on the top. Use medium heat.
To style the back, use a 3/4-inch diameter round brush while aiming the air stream from your blow dryer up and over the brush to create a flip.
Use a spray wax to give curls and flips a bit of definition.
Finish by securing with medium or high hold hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
Aveda’s Be Curly curl enhancing hairspray intensifies and locks in curl with all day frizz control.

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, heart, pear

    Tip:
Angle the part from the hairline over the eye diagonally back towards the middle.

    Flipping Out
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
Shampoo and condition with products designed to keep this blonde color vibrant.
Towel dry by wringing excess moisture from hair.
Work a half dollar-sized amount of styling foam through hair.
Part hair to one side on a slight diagonal.
Use a 1 1/4-inch diameter round brush to lift and blow dry hair in the back.
On the parted side, use the round brush the opposite way to flip hair up.
Finish round brushing in the fringe section, blow drying hair up and straight out, then gently sweeping to one side.
Work a bit of texture wax through the ends to create definition in the fringe and flipped side.
Secure with a medium or high hold hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
To keep blonde vibrant, shampoo and condition with BC Bonacure Color Save Silver Shampoo and Color Save Conditioner. The shampoo contains an essential violet color pigment which supports and enriches the shimmer of cool blonde hair colors. Color Save Conditioner balances pH of the hair, keeping it shiny and healthy.

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, round, square, pear

    Tip:
When round brushing, keep turning the brush to get the maximum amount of bend at the ends.

    Spunky Spike
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
Towel dry hair by wringing out excess moisture.
Work a spray mousse through hair, concentrating it at the roots.
Create a diagonal part that angles the fringe over one eye.
Use fingers to tousle hair, lifting at the roots to create loads of volume, as you blow dry.
Arrange hair randomly as you spray a texture wax for definition, pulling pieces here and there for a unique look.
Finish with a high hold hairspray to support the strong shape.

    Recommended Products:

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, square, pear, round

Style the fringe area to one side for a more ready-to-wear and office-friendly look

Sorry, triple post krn banyak picture, takut gak cukup >_<

    Rally for Ringlets
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
    1. Towel dry hair by wringing out excess moisture.
    2. Preheat a 3/4-inch barrel curling iron.
    3. Allow hair to completely air dry or spray a leave-in conditioner through hair and blow dry with a 1 1/4-inch diameter round brush.
    4. Once hair is completely dry, use clips to section the topmost hair out of your way, leaving about two inches of hair near your neck free to curl for the next step.
    5. Work in horizontal sections beginning at the bottom. Take a one-inch vertical parting of hair and wind it around the iron on top of itself. Hold for a few seconds, gently unwind to release, and let cool in your hand before allowing the curl to hang. Repeat the winding in one-inch by two-inch sections all the way around the head.
    6. This next part is a bit tricky because you don’t want to completely get rid of the banana shape of the curls. Very gently tousle some of your curls to give the style a more modern feel.
    7. Finish with some medium hold hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
Search folica.com for a fabulous selection of round brushes!

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, pear, square

    Tip:
Wrapping the hair on top of or around itself on the iron is important. It means the difference between getting the banana curl shape as seen in the photos above or ending up with more of a spiral or wavy curl.

    Curl Couture
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
    1. Work a curl defining cream through dry hair.
    2. Gather hair at the front of the crown of your head and then move it off-center just a bit to whichever side you prefer, brushing ever so gently over the sides and back to smooth.
    3. Secure with a non-snag elastic.
    4. Arrange curls around the elastic and use bobby pins that match your hair color to secure the curls in different spots around the elastic. This will keep the hair looking like an updo rather than a floppy high ponytail.
    5. Finish with a light to medium hold shine-infusing hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Finishing Spray provides flexible, touchable hold, humidity resistance, UV protection and added shine.

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, round, pear

    Tip:
This style works best on those who have natural tight, spiral curls. Permed hair will work too, though the curls should be tight rather than loose and wavy.

    Girl on Fire
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
    1. Work a quarter-sized amount of texture enhancing cream through towel dried hair.
    2. Use a 1-inch diameter round brush to create volume in the back and top of the crown. Round brushing as you blow dry will also give hair that bit of bend you see in the photos. Work in pie-shaped sections, aiming the air stream along the top of the brush as you turn it.
    3. Emulsify a nickel-sized amount of texture wax or paste with fingertips and piece out the tips of your hair to add defined texture.
    4. Part and arrange hair in the fringe to one side.
    5. Finish with a medium or high hold hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
KMS California Hairplay Design Wax separates and defines with flexible control and lasting shine.

    Best Face Shapes:
    round, oval , pear

    Tip:
Keep red hair color vibrant by using Aveda Madder Root Shampoo and Color Conditioner.

    Classically Smooth
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
Towel dry hair by wringing out excess moisture.
Work a quarter-sized amount of styling serum throughout hair.
    Part hair to one side.
Blow dry using a paddle brush and the “wrap” technique as described above in “Definition of a Curly Blonde”.
Straighten the front a bit more with a flat iron and use the iron to bend some of the hair in the crown back, giving it a bit of height.
Finish with a shine infusing hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
Paul Mitchell’s 427 Paddle Brush is lightweight for easy styling as you blow dry.

    Best Face Shapes:
All face shapes would look great in this style!

The Long and Short of It
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
Emulsify a quarter-sized amount of styling cream with fingertips then rake through towel dried hair from mid-lengths to ends.
Part hair deep to one side.
Using a paddle brush and the “wrap” technique, blow dry hair to give it body and movement.
When you get to the front fringe section, use the paddle brush in the same manner you would a round brush, lifting the hair and blow drying it straight up and out.
Use the paddle brush to then flip that front section over and back, giving it the lift you see in the photo.
Secure with a medium hold hairspray and a bit of shine spray.

    Recommended Products:
OSiS Sparkler aerosol shine spray provides a weightless natural shine. Layer it for additional sheen.

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, pear

    Tip:
For extra lift in the front, use a 2-inch diameter round brush to blow dry hair back and away from the forehead, then let it fall to the parted side.

    Fireworks
    [IMG]
    How to Style:
Spray a workable styling spray generously through towel dried hair.
Use fingers to tousle hair as you blow dry using a medium heat setting.
Work a matte finish paste through hair, creating random texture by pulling hair in different directions.
Finish with a high hold hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
Try Paul Mitchell Fast-Drying Sculpting Spray. Add texture with Alterna Hemp Natural Strength Concrete, which is an ultra-hold styling mud that provides texture and separation with a firm, matte finish. Lock in your style all day by finishing with Alterna Bamboo Style Ultra Hold Hairspray.

    Best Face Shapes:
    oval, pear, square, round

    Tip:
Lift, lift, lift as you blow dry! This will give you volume where you want it, especially in the middle if styling exactly as seen in the photo. Use a flat iron to bend some pieces for a more natural look.

    New Heights
    [IMG] [IMG]
    How to Style:
    1. Work a golf ball-sized amount of styling mousse through towel dried hair.
    2. Use a 1-inch diameter round brush to create lift, volume and bend in the hair as you blow dry.
    3. Turn the hair in the crown towards the back and in the sides down and to the back. Turn hair in the fringe straight up and out in front of you, then under for essential volume.
    4. Finish by creating separation with styling fibers and a strong hold hairspray.

    Recommended Products:
Redken Rewind 06 pliable stying paste lets you twist, shape, rearrange and texurize hair. Forceful 23 super strength finishing spray provides ultimate strength, lasting lift and frizz-free shine.

    Best Face Shapes:
    heart, pear, oval, square

    Tip:
Don’t be afraid to really get into hair with your fingertips to work styling paste and creams through hair. A light touch won’t be enough. You’ll need a bit more of a rough-and-tumble approach to get this texture!
