Another luxurious phone to come out of Russia is the Gresso Black Aura line. Each model isn't made from steel or plastic, which one would expect. Instead, these handmade phones, only 15mm thick, are crafted from African Blackwood. The most blingin' model, the Blackwood Gold Edition, is decorated with 18-carat pink gold inserts. The Black Aura collection can operate on GSM 900/1800/1900 and will be released in 2007. Prices have yet to be determined.

f you're a lover of all things Prada, then LG's Prada Phone is definitely your style. The black sleek Prada sports a touch screen, MP3/video player, external memory slot, Bluetooth 2.0, and a document viewer. It probably won't make its way to the States, but it will make its debut from 600 Euros (~$781 USD) in February in the UK, France, Germany and Italy. Other countries to follow

Bang & Olufsen Serene

Replace your cheesy ring tones with the calming sounds of brass, steel, and wood. (I know, I know. It's a bit odd, but read on.) Bang & Olufsen—a North American supplier of luxury home theaters and music systems--partnered with both Samsung Electronics and designer David Lewis to bring consumers the Serene mobile phone. Its three unique ring tones are supposed to "calm and attract (not alarm) the user to an incoming call." Each tone can be set to 4 different speeds for a total of 12 different speeds. Serene also features Bluetooth, a thumb-operated wheel, 2.1-inch screen and when placed in its docking station or set to Table mode, the phone's display can turn 180 degrees. For $1,275, this therapeutic phone can be yours.

The $1,700 Mobiado Luminoso is described as the world's first 3G luxury mobile phone. Equipped with a large QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera with digital zoom and 2GB of expandable microSD memory, the Luminoso is a Bluetooth-enabled unlocked phone that works on any GSM network. What's dazzling about this luxury phone is its sapphire crystal buttons with illuminated keypad. The phone also supports MP3, MP4, eAAC+ and AAC music files as well as 3GPP, H.263 video, MPEG-4, and AMR video files. Every Mobiado Luminoso ships with a microSD card, headphones, charger, cleaning cloth, cloth carrying pouch, and manual. Unfortunately, it won't touch U.S. soil anytime soon.

Looking for a smartphone without the gold and diamonds? The Mago Luxury Smartphone has everything you'd expect in a smartphone: Bluetooth, WiFi, a touch screen, SD/MMC card slot, and USB 2.0. According to Gizmodo, it should have been released mid last year for 3000 Euros (~$3,908 USD), but only in Russia.

The VX Royal Hearts on Fire phone weighs 107 grams, has a 1.9-inch display, plays MP3s and MP4s, and yes--is covered in 24-carat gold. It sells for around $1,800 through distributors BeyondCell.com, Save2Buy.com, and FatGift.com. The company also sells a solid gold and white gold version for—gasp!—$12,000

Nokia 8800 Sirocco Limited Gold S Edition

If you happen to win the lottery one day, perhaps you'll consider a $16,000 phone. Introducing Sayn Design's Nokia 8800 Sirocco Limited Gold S Edition. The back cover and keyboard consist of 150 grams of pure gold; the display cover is crafted in 24-carat gold. VIPN Black Diamond

Designed by Singapore-native artist Jaren Goh, the Black Diamond has only two diamonds fitted to its exterior: one on the joystick and the other on the back of the phone. The diamonds are said to be larger than two carats and are provided by Diamanthaus of Switzerland. The phone features a 2.1-inch touch sensitive screen, 2GB SD card, WiFi, and operates with Windows Mobile 5. Only five will be made in the first half of this year, selling for $300,000

GoldVish 'Le million' Piece Unique

Clearly, Swedish designer Emmanuel Gueit knows the way to a woman's heart when he crafted GoldVish's 'Le million' Piece Unique. This handcrafted cell phone is made of 18-carat white gold, mounted with 120-carat VVS-1 graded diamonds. 'Le million' Piece Unique was first introduced in September 2006 in Europe at the Millionaire Fair. A Russian businessman bought the phone for one million euros. Guinness World Records officials were present at the time of the transaction and declared the sale as the most expensive and most exclusive mobile phone ever sold. A limited edition of 100 will be distributed worldwide and is only available upon special request.
