CHARACTERS ​

Spoiler: Elsword

His big sister is the leader of the Order of Red Knights. As a child he trained alongside her constantly, but she was called away to tend to more important matters. He has been trying to win her respect ever since and has joined the royal search party in its quest to find the Eldrit. Elsword hopes to become the leader of the search party and to finally prove his worth to his sister.

Spoiler: Knight of the Sword - High Knight

Elsword was always a strong willed Knight. He never gave up, always trying to become stronger. Improving his skills like never before, he began to create new ways of fighting with his sword. After being trained by the people of Elder, he became known as the Knight of the Sword.

As soon as Elsword arrived in Velder, he began to train his swordsmanship skills once more. Being tested by Vanessa, Elsword grew stronger then ever before. Soon the other knights in Velder started to respect him, and he was dubbed High Knight.

Spoiler: Knight Mage - Rune Knight

During his travels, Elsword found out that he was very vulnerable to magical type attacks. He decides to go to Echo for help, who told him the only way to cover up this weakness was to become a Knight Mage. Elsword decides to become one in order to cover up this weakness. He absorbed some magical powers through a ritual, and became a Magic Knight. Being able to use magic attacks now allows Elsword to become a more balanced character, specializing in both Melee and Ranged attacks.

While traveling, Elsword decides to practice his magic skills so that he can become stronger. He goes to Vannessa in Velder for help, and she explained to him that he can start using runes instead of fireballs to increase his power. Soon Elsword started to use the runes he got from training, and this allowed him to become a more stronger magic knight, thus giving him the name, Rune Knight.

Spoiler: Cornwell Knight - Sword Summoner

Already a veteran of many battles at a young age, Elsword still feels the need to become even stronger, and the need to create his own sword-fighting art. During his quests, he discovers an ancient hidden treasure, a scabbard named Conwell.

This scabbard was imbued by its creator with the power to summon a second great sword at will. With this power, Elsword could wield 2 massive swords at the same time and become a peerless warrior. Elsword makes a pact with the mystical scabbard and quickly begins to develop his own fighting style using the dual-wielding technique.

Elsword travels the land of Elrios with friends in search of the El, making a name for himself wherever he goes. People of the land soon begin to talk of the great swordsman who travels with the magic scabbard Conwell - the Cornwell Knight.

Throughout his ordeals all over the continent as the Cornwell Knight, Elsword observes how the scabbard Conwell takes in the dark El energy from the infected monsters he faces. This troubles him and leads him to consult the spirit of Conwell on how to stop the contamination—Conwell must absorb the dark El energy at first and then transfer it to Elsword.

The spirit counsels Elsword that this remedy will stir the gloom in his heart, unless he conquers it with might. The red-haired boy’s confidence is unfazed by the challenge before him, and he lets Conwell do what must be done. In time, the dark El energy changes them both in ability, empowering Elsword—now known as the Sword Summoner—to multiply the scabbard and call on an unlimited number of swords.

Spoiler: Aisha

Aisha led a nomadic childhood with her grandfather, who was a wise and experienced mage. He taught Aisha the art of spell-casting, and at the tender age of 12 awarded her the title of 'Mage'. A short time later, she stumbled upon an ancient enchanted artefact which robbed her of her magical powers when she tried to use it. She searched high and low for a way to lift this terrible curse, but to no avail. Eventually, her grandfather revealed to her a crucial piece of information: 'The ring seeks a worthy bearer on which to bestow its powers. But take heed, the ring will enslave those who are too weak to control it and drain them of their powers.' Aisha has travelled far and wide since then, picking up whatever arcane lore she can and building her strength in the hope that one day she might tame the ring and regain her lost powers.

Spoiler: Rena

Like all Elves, Rena needs the power of the Eldrit to survive. When the flow of power from the Eldrit began to lessen, the Elves were cut off from their ancestors and their home world. If the flow of power from the Eldrit is cut off completely, the Elves in the human world will die out and their souls will be trapped in limbo. Rena has to reach the Tree of Light (El's Tree) as quickly as possible and find out what is going on. Rena can sense the Eldrit within the Tree of Light.

Spoiler: Raven

Raven was a young and ambitious warrior who quickly made a name for himself in the Mercenary Alliance. He eventually became their leader. But his best friend grew envious of his success, and spread rumours about him that destroyed Raven's reputation and put him in prison. Raven's fiancée freed him with the help of the faithful Crow Mercenaries but died in the escape attempt. Raven himself was seriously wounded and left behind, dying. In this state, he was taken to the Nasod King who replaced Raven's severed arm with Nasod components and so brought him back to life. The King hoped that Raven's fury and injured pride would make him punish humans for their actions. Raven swore an oath of fealty to the Nasod King. But a chance encounter with Elsword changed everything and rekindled his human spirit. Now they fight together against the Eldrit thieves.

Spoiler: Eve

​

In the time when the Nasod and Humans lived in harmony, Eve was a high-ranking Nasod and bore the title of 'Little Princess'. With the disappearance of the Eldrit, the Nasod were robbed of their powers. Eve was one of the lucky few to find refuge in a stasis chamber. She was reactivated when a piece of Eldrit landed nearby. By that time the Nasods had been wiped out and Eve faced a life of solitude. Her attempts to build more Nasod were met with failure. With her piece of Eldrit, she eventually succeeded in repairing the Nasod Core, which began to radiate energy again. She returned to her stasis chamber and hoped that one day, when the time was ripe, her fellow beings would awaken her. Instead, she was wrenched from her slumbers by the unwitting Elsword, who had slain her newly awoken friends. With her dreams shattered, she swore vengeance and set out to destroy Elsword. As her temper cooled, she eventually decided to join him. Eve realised that if they worked together, they stood a better chance of finding the Eldrit and helping her Nasod brothers.

Spoiler: Chung

​

Chung is the heir of the Saker Family, the dynasty entrusted with the protection of Hamel. When demons attacked Hamel, Chung's father was able to repel the onslaught but the dark powers wrested control of his body. He switched sides. Chung tried to stop his father but was seriously injured. The fact that he's still alive he puts down to Elsword and his friends who found him on the battlefield and rescued him. After he had recovered from his injuries, Chung decided to leave his home for a time. He left Hamel in the care of the Red Mercenary Knights, dropped his surname and joined Elsword's group. Now he no longer protects his town but the people that he meets on his travels, training incessantly so he can grow ever stronger. Woe to the demons when he returns to free Hamel – and save his father!
