    New Prince of Persia Trademark Filing Surfaces
    Creator Jordan Mechner secures the title, "Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands."

    Since we all know no successful franchise ever dies, and we also all know Prince of Persia is a highly successful franchise, it follows that there obviously will be a new Prince of Persia game eventually. But do we now also know what its title will be? Superannuation picked up on a new trademark filing by Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner, for the title "Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands" (via Shacknews).

    On top of this trademark filing, Superannuation also noted that an Ubisoft character modeler briefly listed work on "the new Prince of Persia" on his Linkedin resume (which has now modestly been switched to "Working on the best game ever").

    With the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time film coming out next summer, the early speculation is this will be a game tie-in with the film. We hope this is true, as we're pretty sure it would mark only the second time in gaming history where a game was adapted into a movie and then adapted into a different game (Street Fighter: The Movie of course being the trailblazer in this highly derivative category).

    kalau tentang Film nya POP itu aku dah tau daridulu..
    cuma kalau remake game nya, baru tau skrg..
    nice info bro :)

    pendapat pribadi, PoP memang layak buat di remake ulang, dan dibuat movie nya gitu..
    secara game ini fenomenal bgt....
    sejak jaman SD, masih di DOS, pakai Disket 1MB'an, dah ada game ini... hahaha...

    semoga remake nya bener2 keren, dan bisa memuaskan fans2 nya game ini

    bah, kalo gamenya ntar berpatokan dari film POP jangan2x bisa rusak legenda POP, mengingat setiap game yg diambil dari film (vice versa) selalu buruk

    Gw yakin filmnya bakal flop alias GATOT. jarang ada film adaptasi dr game yg sukses sekaligus bagus. kalopun sukses pasti krn sdh punya penggemar fanatik. kecuali trilogy resident evil emang bagus dan sukses, juga silent hill tp ga gitu booming.

    boleh, asalkan grafiknya lebih bagus. kalo bisa diusahain agar efek waktu rewind ama slow motionnya ngak terlalu blur jadi lebih mantap.

    sebenarnya bukan di remake tapi memang game baru. dari yang kubaca judul pop terbarunya: prince of persia the forgotten sand. rentang waktu ceritanya kalo gak salah (gw lupa lupa inget) di antara prince of persia sand of time dan warrior within. correct me if im wrong. gw sdh lihat trailer filmya, semoga gak mengecewakan

    POP Forgotten Sand gameplaynya lebih mantabb..
    kyk versi 2D nya waktu zaman DOS..
    gw baru nyoba versi PSP doang sih..
    jauh lebih comfort mainnya,,dan berasa nostalgia ma versi jadulnya..

    Mo nanya nih...Diantara semua Game Prince of Persia mana sih yg terbaik..?? Saking banyak episode/versinya...jd bikin ogut bingung mana yg bagus sih?
    Terbaik mksdnya dr segi Gbr/Animasi maupun Gamenya...tentunya yg terakhir d (bukan yg kuno) yg sdh support Win7 !
    Gamenya bukan yg seru aja, tp menarik & menantang utk berpikir petualangnya.

    Mhn sarannya tm²...klo perlu 2 pilihan aja - ksh ranking/nomor dah, THNQ All.

    Note: soal filesize no prob...walupun 10 GB it's no matter !!
