    New Store Items

    We have just launched some very nice new items through the Item Store. These are made to save time for those so inclined.

    Ability Points Potion - This potion will double the Ability Points you receive for the duration of its effect.

    Run Speed Upgrade - It is now possible to directly purchase the run speed increases (identical to those which can be purchased through your Secret Society).

    In addition there will be lots of new social items such as clothing and pets continuously added to the store, so check if frequently if you wish to stay abreast with what is new.

    New Content for the Future

    Periodically we will release packs of DLC (Downloadable Content). These updates, called Issues in The Secret World, contain new content, such as more Auxiliary Weapons, new missions and story arcs. These packs are fully optional and can be purchased for the Bonus Points that are included in the optional Membership, as well as with the Grandmaster Lifetime service.

    The first DLC will start selling in January 2013, and is the main storyline of issue #5. This will sell for $5, however this content is already fully unlocked for anyone who has a full game account registered before the end of December 2012.

    Regular patches with free content and updates and enhancements to the core game will still continue.

    Class System

    Class System di Secret World dikenal dengan "Deck". Namun sebenarnya anda tidak terikat class tertentu, Deck ini hanya berfungsi untuk membantu player baru yang kira-kira belum mengenal dengan detail cara kerja class system di Secret World. Bila anda memenuhi syarat suatu deck dengan mengambil semua skill yang dibutuhkan deck tersebut, maka akan mendapat hadiah berupa costume dari deck / job / class tersebut.

    Uniknya Secret World adalah, anda tidak terpaku pada job / class tertentu untuk membangun karakter anda, semua skill bisa anda ambil nantinya seiring waktu. Walaupun demikian, setiap karakter hanya bisa menggunakan 7 skill aktif, 1 skill Aux / Alternative Weapon, dan 7 skill pasif.

    Crafting System
    Assembly

    Assembly adalah kata lain dari crafting di Secret World, dan hanyalah optional, tidak menjadi keharusan, karena senjata dan aksesoris terbaik hanya didapatkan dari Lair (sebutan dungeon di Secret World).
    Kita bisa Assembly senjata, aksesoris / talisman, potions, buff potion, gadget, dan glyph. Assembly membutuhkan bahan-bahan material, toolkit, dan blueprint / resep untuk beberapa item tertentu.

    Disassemble

    Kebalikan dari Assembly, gunanya menghancurkan item untuk mendapatkan material-material yang akan digunakan untuk assembly.

    Character Progression

    No Classes or Levels

    Tidak ada Class / Level di Secret World, yang ada hanya AP dan SP
    AP = Ability Point
    SP = Skill Point

    AP & SP didapatkan melalui menyelesaikan missions dan membunuh monster seperti halnya MMORPG pada dasarnya.

    Quest / Mission System:
    Ada beberapa jenis quest / mission di Secret World, yaitu :

    -Story Mission
    Mission yang berkaitan dengan main story

    - Dungeon Mission / Instance
    Mission yang mengharuskan membentuk party dan menyelsaikan dungeon

    - Action Mission
    Mission yang biasanya hanya ditugaskan untuk membunuh monster

    - Investigation Mission
    Mission yang membutuhkan otak untuk menyelesaikannya, biasanya memecahkan teka-teki, mencari petunjuk, dan biasanya terkait dengan kejadian di dunia nyata.... yup, dunia kita sekarang hidup.
    Maka dari itu ada in-game browser powered by Google.

    - Sabotage Mission
    Mission yang berkaitan dengan mengumpulkan suatu item, infiltrasi, dan menghancurkan objektif.

    - Side Mission
    Misi yang biasanya berkaitan dengan, mengunjungi suatu tempat, mengantarkan barang, menemukan NPC tertentu, dan lain-lain.

    - PvP Mission
    Perang merebutkan fasilitas dan teritory, bagi Societies yang memegang fasilitas tertentu akan mendapatkan global buff untuk societies-nya.

    Semua quest bisa diulang-ulang selamanya kecuali Story Mission. Setiap Mission punya cooldown untuk bisa diambil kembali nantinya.
    Setiap quest memberikan hadiah AP & SP, Pax Romana (mata uang Secret World), senjata, talisman (aksesoris), toolkit, atau Token (mata uang khusus untuk ditukarkan item special)

    Gear / Equipment
    Weapons

    - Melee
    Blade, Fist Weapon, dan Hammer

    - Range
    Assault Rifle, Dual Pistol, dan Shotgun

    - Magic
    Blood Magic, Elementalist, dan Chaos Magic

    Masing-masing senjata memiliki keunggulan tersendiri. Skill terikat senjata, jadi skill di Secret World disesuaikan dengan penggunaan senjata.
    Setiap character bisa menggunakan 2 senjata sekaligus dan 1 senjata special yang disebut Auxiliary Weapon.

    Talisman

    Di Secret World tidak ada armor, namun adanya Talisman sebagai ganti armor. Talisman ini bentuknya tidak ditampilkan pada karakter kita. Penampilan karakter kita hanya akan berubah sesuai dengan fashion outfit / costume / social clothing.
    Talisman terbagi menjadi 3 bagian :

    - Head Talisman
    Talisman / armor kepala

    - Major Talisman
    Finger Talisman, Neck Talisman, Wrist Talisman

    - Minor Talisman
    Luck Talisman, Waist Talisman, Occult Talisman

    Total ada 7 Talisman yang bisa digunakan setiap karakter, talisman ini memiliki status-status yang bisa memperkuat karakter kita sesuai build yang diinginkan.

    Sepertinya tidak ada yang tahu game ini, dan tidak tertarik dengan game seperti ini, sangat disayangkan, padahal game yang sangat berkualitas dan komunitas yang dewasa, almost free of troll

    Kalau dalam 1 minggu masih tidak ada tanda2 ketertarikan maka thread ini dengan terpaksa akan saya request untuk di close oleh admin

    yang review ngaco itu kwkwkw jangan pernah percaya review2 orang, mendingan maen sendiri kalau mau nyoba karena persepsi orang beda2
    kalau yg review cuma coba main 1-2 jam mah semua MMO juga bakal dibilang sama ma dia

    Kelebihan game ini ada pada detailnya dan nuansa modern seperti jaman sekarang jadi serasa bener2 main di dunia sekarang, kalau anda mystery addict pasti cocok bgt ma game ini juga, karena di game ini banyak misteri2 dan teka-teki untuk kelarin missionnya

    aqu sih gak selalu percaya ama review
    tpi klo gw2 berkat dari review, dan gak kecewa beli, cukup beli sekali bisa maen ampe puas
    bahkan selalu ada update event2 baru yg fresh ^^

    aqu yakin ini game emang keren,, tpi dari yg aqu amati di youtube
    ini game dgn setting generic mirip mmo lain.. :/
    gebrakan baru-nya cuma gak ada leveling progress (tpi msih ada skill progress)
    setting dunia dan lore-nya boleh unik, grafiknya ajaib, tpi klo gameplay generic ya jadi gak maksimal
    klo teka-teki semua game juga punya walau dgn cara yg berbeda :)

    mmorpg yg gameplay-nya unik itu gw2, eqn, ama eso.. coba cek deh, pasti ntar ngerti apanya yg unik
    tpi yah namanya juga mmorpg, jdi ya pasti punya kemiripan
    The Secret World msuk daftar "harus coba" XD nih juga termasuk game yg solid
