    Beauty and the Beast dvd is one of the best animated Disney features in the world, it's up there. Beauty and the Beast dvd has many things, a great storyline, wonderfully composed songs, a great blend between sharp computer graphics, and yet humor as well.

    The story is based on the legends that trace back to the days of Ancient Europe, and this is adapted from the French version back in the 17th or 18th century. I have to say, two thumbs way up for great adaptation, and yet everything that makes it great.

    What's too bad is that boys these days would turn away from this (and any thing from Disney), and as a male, I love this film for the spectacular animation and songs. I have to say about this, two thumbs way way way......way way way UP!! Congratulations for another time Disney! I bet Walt Disney himself would've been so extremely happy to see this because he pitched Beauty and the Beast dvd back in the 1930s.

    And we will all remember Howard Ashman, who sadly died of AIDS in March of 1991 during production of this.
